Amano by Lorena Laing now showing as part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2016

Amano by Lorena Laing have been invited to showcase in the “creative collective” exhibition, for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, now showing at the Melbourne town hall. The exhibit presents an array of Victorian designers from various disciplines representing the local talent here in Melbourne. This event has been beautifully curated / styled by Virginia Dowzer & Set design and built by Moth Design. The free event runs until 2nd Sept 2016 and is sponsored by Creative Victoria.

AMANO’s bespoke commission for the show was created by multiple local artisans. The yarn used is local suri Alpaca in a brand new spring release developed with super suri yarns and the yarn lady. This spring suri is a fine blend of Suri Alpaca and bamboo, processed right here in Victoria and hand dyed in pastel colours for the exhibition. ┬áThe various techniques include kneedle knitting, hand weaving and hand foiling.

This limited edition range is ONLY available online due to limited yarn stock supply – Look for online exclusives.
